| GOT JESUS? You did not arrive here by accident, and this is the most important question you will ever answer. It truly is a matter of life or death! This is why every human being needs Jesus as their Lord and savior. #1. We Have All Sinned. The bible tells us that God created us to have fellowship with Him. Adam’s sin in the Garden of Eden caused all future generations to be born into sin, and because of sin, we are separated from God. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) We can’t go any further until we come to terms with this first step-we are ALL sinners. No matter how good we think we are, it will never be good enough to go to heaven, without the perfection of Jesus and His blood covering our sin. #2. Our Sin Deserves Eternal Death The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) Wages refer to something we have earned. This death is spiritual death and eternal separation from God in a place the bible refers to as Hell. In order to have this death sentence removed, so that we might live in Heaven for eternity, we must have our sin removed-we must be made clean. #3. We Must Desire To Be Clean-We Must Repent So many times a desire to be clean and go to heaven causes people to think that they can make themselves right with God by doing good things, and just being a great person. Because of pride it is difficult to humble ourselves before God, and admit “I know I can’t get there through my own effort. I’m lost without you Lord, and I need a Savior to cleanse me of all my sins.” We must let go of our pride, and come to Him in repentance. But unless you repent, you too will all perish (Luke 13:5) Repent, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out. (Acts 3:19) He does not want any to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (2. Pet. 3:19) #4. Jesus Christ is The Sacrifice Which Makes Us Clean-Resulting in Salvation and Eternal Life We must understand and believe that because God loves us so much, he made a way for (all our sins) to be completely washed away-a way for us to be made pure and clean in His sight. This way of forgiveness is through faith or belief in His Son Jesus. God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever (THAT’S YOU!) believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16) God demonstrated His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) Even though we deserved death, Jesus paid the price for us so that we could live forever in eternity with Him, in Heaven, because of His great love. Jesus said to him, ‘” I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE; NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME.” (John 14:6) #5. Receive Jesus Christ As Your Savior “Behold, I stand at the door and knock-if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him.” (Rev. 3:20) As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12) If you have come this far, and feel the tugging of God’s love in your heart, I urge you not to wait another minute, simply pray this prayer right now: Dear Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner, I desire to turn from my sin, and I know that I can never achieve a sinless life on my own. I believe that You died and rose again. I repent and ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I’m asking You to come into my life and make me a new creation. I want to live for You, and I accept you Jesus, as my Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me today, and now fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I might live for you. Amen. If you accepted Jesus as your Savior you have begun a wonderful new life with Him. The bible says that the angels in heaven rejoice when a person gives their life to Jesus, so we rejoice with the angels over you!! Please take a moment to visit our prayer/contact us page and let us know if there are ways we can pray for you. WELCOME to the family of God! You can now say, “I'VE GOT JESUS!” Here are some steps to follow: 1. Read your Bible every day to get to know Jesus Christ better. (A chapter a day keeps the devil away.) 2.
